Justice Minister meets with Kazakh and Australian Ambassadors

WAM ABU DHABI, May 9th, 2013 (WAM) -- Dr. Hadef bin Jowan Al Dhahiri, Minister of Justice, has held separate meetings with Pablo Kang, the Australian Ambassador to the UAE, and Kazakhstan′s Ambassador, Askar Mussinov.

Participation of the UAE delegation for the Almaty Ministerial Conference about Istanbul Process on Afghanistan
On April 26, Almaty hosted the Third Ministerial Conference of the Istanbul Process on Afghanistan with the participation of Kazakhstan’s President Nursultan Nazarbayev. More than 50 delegations, led by the foreign ministers of the participating states, supporting countries and heads of international organizations, attended the Almaty Conference. The UAE delegation was led by Mr. Faris Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Assistant Foreign Minister for Security and Military Affairs. The participants fully supported the plans of the regional countries to cooperate on Afghanistan and confirmed their willingness to purposefully expand and deepen regional cooperation based on the principles of friendship, respect and mutual benefit.

President addressed Ministerial Conference of Istanbul Process for Afghanistan

As the press service of the President reports, addressing the conference of the foreign affairs ministers of the Istanbul Process member states, Nursultan Nazarbayev noted that the issues regarding further development of Afghanistan were on the agenda of the meeting. This country enters a new historic period conditioned by the completion of the mission of the International Security Assistance Force.
Vice-Minister of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan paid a working visit to the UAE
On April 22-23, Azat Bekturov, Vice-Minister of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan paid a working visit to the UAE. During the visit, he had negotiations with the Director General of Civil Aviation Authority of the UAE H.E Mr. Saif Mohammed Al Suwaidi, and they discussed the prospects for cooperation between the Kazakhstan and UAE in the areas of aviation.
