AL HILAL TO INVEST USD 1 BLN IN KAZAKHSTAN ECONOMY
ASTANA. March 15. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ Al Hilal, the first Islamic Bank in Kazakhstan, is ready to invest USD 1 bln in Kazakhstan economy, Chairman of Al Hilal Bank Kazakhstan Prasad Abraham has announced it at the press conference in Astana today.
According to him, the Government of Abu-Dhabi has confirmed its intention to allocate USD 1 bln for Kazakhstan. P. Abraham noted the Bank planned to participate in corporate sector, industry, ore-mining sector as well as in the projects on financing construction of roads in our country.
However, the Bank has certain requirements on the projects financing.
"We will invest this sum in Kazakhstani economy if all regulations are complied", P. Abraham stressed.
Along with this he said that USD 200 mln - USD 250 mln were expected to be invested directly in our economy. This sum will be increased in the following years, he added.
