A round of political consultations
Yesterday Kanat Saudabayev met with UAE foreign minister Anuar Muhammed Gargash. The parties talked over a wide range of issues related to the countries’ bilateral interaction. The Emirates’ party backed Kazakhstan’s external political initiatives, specifically those within RK’s current chairmanship in the OSCE.
Prior to the meeting Astana hosted political consultations of RK and UAE MFAs. Our republic’s delegation was led by Nurlan Yermekbayev, a deputy minister for foreign affairs, the UAE delegation - by Anuar Gargash. The meeting brought up the current situation in and outlook for bilateral partnership in political, economic and investment areas and further enlargement of RK-UAE contractual-legal framework, interaction within international and regional organizations, specifically the part of the Emirates in CICA and in the work of the congress of world and traditional religions’ leaders, joint implementation of socio-humanitarian projects in Afghanistan.
