PRESIDENT NAZARBAYEV LEFT FOR ISTANBUL TO ATTEND III CICA SUMMIT
ALMATY. June 7. KAZINFORM /Yernur Akanbay/ President Nursultan Nazarbayev has left for Istanbul for participation in the III CICA Summit of Heads of State and Government.
In accordance with the visit program, the President will hold bilateral meetings with some heads of state. In particular, it is planned to hold meetings with President of Turkey Abdullah Gul, President of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, President of the Palestinian National Authority Mahmoud Abbas, President of Macedonia George Ivanov, Prime Minister of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
On June 8 the President will attend the CICA Third Summit of Heads of State and Government. It is expected that following results of the Summit candidacy of the CICA Executive Director will be established, the Istanbul Declaration will be adopted, and the Convention on the staff and representatives of the CICA member states will be signed.
N.Nazarbayev is planned to meet with President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych and Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
The official delegation qwhich accompanies the Head of the State includes Kazakh Secretary of State-Minister of Foreign Affairs Kanat Saudabayev, Assistant to the Kazakh President on Foreign Affairs Kairat Sarybai, head of the department of the Presidential affairs Sarybai Kalmyrzayev.
