KAZAKH PRESIDENT CALLS FOR COMPROMISE SIDES INVOLVED IN CONFLICT OVER ATTACK ON FREEDOM FLOTILLA
ISTANBUL. June 8. KAZINFORM /Ernur Akanbay/ At the Istanbul summit of heads of the CICA member states President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has called on for compromise the sides involved in the conflict over the Israel Navy′s attack on Freedom Flotilla that had tried to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza.
′The Israeli attack on the humanitarian ship occurred last week in the Mediterranean Sea deteriorated the situation in the region. I call for compromise the parties involved in the conflict′, Nursultan Nazarbayev said.
According to him, the incident should be investigated at the international level. ′Without it it′s difficult even to speak about ensuring security and stability in the region′, the Kazakh President emphasized.
Kazakh Leader pointed out the importance of developing a military-political dialogue regarding the current situation.
